April Writting Assigment

Yes I know it's really almost May, but anyway, some folks haven't been keeping up with their blog anyhow. I know we get busy, or "life" happens, and that is good, but maybe if I could gently prod you into to writing well, you know.

It is time for another writing project, what is it you say? I want to know your guilty pleasure. That is, something you do or like that for all intents and purposes you really shouldn't, but you do anyway. So what is your guilty pleasure? We'll compare notes and take the test... ok not really, but still, I think this is a way to let everyone know what makes you tick.

March Writing Assignment

Ok... I have a new writing assignment. This is one that will be easy for me, but I want others to get the bug too. Basically whether it's just going in your backyard, or traveling across the country I want you to not only write about it but take pictures as well. It could be a trip to the bathroom (if you really think that's interesting) or a trip to Disney World. I'm thinking that most will have something in between, but you never know.

I've made some trips recently myself. You can use them as a profile if you'd like. I'd say 1-5 pictures and some commentary... who knows you could introduce somebody to something they didn't even know they liked. Got it? Good.

Also if anyone has a blog or knows of a blog, please get the information to me, I'm always looking for new material.

Writing Project

Ok I have got to do something.... The Blog Jam has been pretty slim pickins' lately. I don't know if that is because of the economy, or weather, or what... So I'm issuing an assignment of sorts.

Either list or display what is on your Ipod. You might be saying, "But I don't have an Ipod", well tough, ok not really, then list some songs that you would put on your Ipod, if you had one. A few songs, maybe a video, really let your imagination run wild. Label it "Writing Project" and we'll take it from there.

We going to do it again

How about lets do it again? I'm talking about write something about Christmas, your Christmas that you do. For instance, my wife's big dinner is on Christmas Eve, and it's made up of 7 fish dishes. Now I think that is some kind of Northeastern/Catholic thing, but who knows? And the wife is not Italian, more like Lithuanian, so I don't know. What different kinds of things do you do? write a blog (on your own blog) and label it as "Holiday Traditions" and we'll see.

Also I have another blog to add in another day or so...

Blog Subjects

Ok, The blog subject of the day/week/month whatever went over pretty good. We'll keep an eye out for a new subject soon. Thanks everybody, now go eat! Oh anybody that has a subject can tell me and I'll get it out there.

Holiday Traditions

I'm feeling kind of swept up in it all, so let me have it! We'll run until the holidays next week, and see if we can maybe spread some traditions around. Just put the holiday traditions in your labels and post regularly to you blog.

No Update... Sorta'

I know that this place only updates when we have a new member. Well was thinking about perhaps putting up a subject and having everyone post on it. Now granted, it would be voluntary, and obviously everyone one would not respond.

Anyway just thinking. Let me know if you might be interested.

Also, I have been looking at a few other blogs, but nothing concrete as far as new membership is concerned. As always if you know somebody or some blog that might be interested please send the info my way.
