June Writing Assingment

This is a little late, I know. Sorry about that. So this month’s writing assignment is Vacation. Real original huh? Yeah I know, but school is out, it is hot as the dickens, and it is on my mind. Hopefully it is on yours too. So where are you going? Maybe you can’t take a vacation but you’d like to think about going to somewhere. Maybe you took one three years ago and it was something so special you must share. Whatever you decide, what was your Vacation?

May Writing Assignment

Ok this is hard, the whole coming up with ideas thing, I want to come up with an idea that many people will write about. Last month’s “changes” got a pretty good response. So what about a family member? Family member you say? Yep. So why don’t you write a little something about a family member? You don’t have to give out names or anything like that, but I know there are several family members that I write about from my kids, to my wife, to my siblings, to my parents. They don’t have to be living; they just have to have something interesting about them. It is mother's day coming up... but it could be anyone. So go. Write. Ok?

April Writing Assignment

So this month I thought I would ask about change. From changing your underwear (also known as drawz) to the weather, to a new job, to well just about anything. So what is changing in your world? Surely you change your underwear (drawz) but what else? You could get political, you could get more domestic, you could talk fashion, whatever, it is your blog and so the only person you have to worry about pleasing is you. Just sayin'.

January Writing Assignment

Ok so it is January, Christmas is done, I don't really see a reason to be cold anymore, bring on summer... maybe. What will you do now that the holidays are over? Are you like me and look for summer or perhaps you like the cold. Whatever it is, blog about it!

October Writing Assignment

Ok I had a big long explanation of what I wanted, copied it, and then I got busy with something else, and copied something else and *poof* it was gone. Anyway for this month's writing assignment "how does your family interact/converge" throughout the day? Kind of a day in the life of... sorta'

You don't have to post this if you don't want to. Again, these writing assignments are designed (by a committee of myself) to give people something to write about, and perhaps let the reader know a little something about you that they didn't know.

June Writing Assingment

All right you bloggers, I have though long and hard about what our next writing assignment should be (like 5-10 minutes at least), and as usual, the idea kind of just presented itself within one of the blogs. There really was no May writing assignment so we're skipping right to June.

So... what are you going to do with your summer? are you going on vacation anywhere? a concert? Are you staying home because of the economy? Perhaps you already went somewhere, or someplace you want to go, but can't. So what are you doing this summer? Reading a book? or traveling around the world? Let me know...

April Writting Assigment

Yes I know it's really almost May, but anyway, some folks haven't been keeping up with their blog anyhow. I know we get busy, or "life" happens, and that is good, but maybe if I could gently prod you into to writing well, you know.

It is time for another writing project, what is it you say? I want to know your guilty pleasure. That is, something you do or like that for all intents and purposes you really shouldn't, but you do anyway. So what is your guilty pleasure? We'll compare notes and take the test... ok not really, but still, I think this is a way to let everyone know what makes you tick.
